We offer vocational and nationally recognised dance training for motivated students from all over Australia and New Zealand, in a range of styles including classical ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop and even acrobatics.
While our elite dance school is in Melbourne, we accept students from all over Australia, including Perth and Greater Western Australia

Australia’s premier performing arts school accepting students from Perth

Along with elite dance training, you will have the opportunity to enrol in some of Australia’s most rigorous and widely recognised musical theatre courses.
Through our musical theatre department, ​APO Arts Academy​, you will learn the foundations of dancing, singing and acting, and immerse yourself in the theoretical side of musical theatre including the history of musical theatre, music theory and keyboard skills.
You will learn from some of Australia’s most experienced and committed performing arts tutors, plus hear from guest speakers and lecturers from within the entertainment industry, including musical directors.
If you have the drive, adaptability, and creative excellence to pursue musical theatre, we have both ​part-time​ and ​full-time courses available​.

Note: we do not take international students at this time, however, students from New Zealand are welcome to apply
The entertainment industry can be a tough nut to crack – there’s no denying the performing arts requires a certain level of creativity, dance ability, physical fitness, and the drive to succeed.
At Dance World Studios, we need to see your skill and passion in motion. We require application via audition, or via video submission if you’re still living interstate or in New Zealand.
