AUDITIONS
Following the success of last year’s musical, Galilee and Dance World Studios are
teaming up again to produce the 2023 live show ‘GALILEE AT THE MOVIES’
– featuring all students in all levels performing musical, dance, and acting scenes from iconic films.Moreover, there are some featured roles up for grabs for students in year 3 to 6 levels. We’re looking for
confident applicants with prior formal training or performance experience for the following roles:
SINGERS
Strong singers with prior training
ACTORS
Confident, good diction and able to take direction
ACROBATS
Intermediate to advanced level with tumbling experience.
No beginners please.
MUSICIANS
Skilled musicians with their own instruments, eg,guitar, saxophone, flute, violin or ukulele. No piano or drums.
SUPER ENSEMBLE
Dancers with prior dance training background.
N.b rehearsals will occur during recess or lunch and
also outside of school hours.
AUDITION DATES:
Thursday 27 April & Friday 28 April
During school hours
Nominate the role/s and include your child’s full name, current age and classroom.
Further infstructions will be sent to help your child prepare for the auditions.
REHEARSALS for all year levels will commence in term 2
PROPOSED SHOW WEEK is the final week of term 3
