Fr Bob Maguire AM

Today, we bid farewell to a great man, Father Bob Maguire. He was not just a personal friend, mentor, and patron of our school, but a beacon of hope for all those lives he has touched. Father Bob’s unwavering support and dedication to our community, especially to disadvantaged youth, was an inspiration to us all. And his scholarship program allowed many of our graduates to soar high in pursuit of their dreams. Though he may have left this earthly plane, Father Bob’s spirit will forever dance in the hallways of DW. He did often enquire about Scottish highland dancing – a reflection of his humour and sense of joyful spirit. Rest in peace, Father Bob
