This course is ideal for students seeking to increase their technical competency, particularly in jazz & classical ballet, whilst undertaking a wide variety of traditional, theatrical and commercial dance forms. With a focus on developing stronger foundations, it will enable students to tackle more complex work in dance and introduce them to allied performance units such as singing and acting.

Students are first revisit the fundamental principles of dance – a time to consolidate applied technique, complemented by a range of theoretical units. Thereafter, the academic and practical classes continue with an increased emphasis on the refinement and development of more sophisticated technique. Individual artistry and performance ability are also encouraged by increasing the performance opportunities
