1.FEES
- 1.1 All tuition fees are payable prior to commencing training. Term durations may vary, and this will be reflected in the fee.
- 1.2 Minimum of 10 students required for classes to proceed. DW reserves the right to cancel a class if there are less than 10 students enrolled per term and in this instance, refunds shall apply for class fees from the date of cancellation.
2. WITHDRAWALS
- 2.1 Students are enrolled on a term basis, however, if a student wishes to withdraw, notice is required in writing.
3. REFUNDS & CREDITS
All group class fees are non-refundable, non-transferable nor eligible for a credit, except as specified below:
- 3.1 WITHDRAWAL BEFORE THE TERM STARTS: full refund
- 3.2 The class is cancelled by DW due to insufficient enrolment: refund less any accrued classes.
- 3.3 Non-Attendance Policy: Refunds or credits do not apply for non-attendance or change of mind.
- 3.4 If the Student becomes incapacitated for four (4) consecutive weeks, due to serious illness or injury, a credit will be issued for any unused portion of prepaid fees. The Student must supply a medical certificate confirming total incapacitation.
- 3.5 COVID-19 Isolation Restrictions: If government-imposed restrictions require us to stop face to face training, credits will be issued for any unused portion of prepaid fees, in lieu of refunds.
- 3.6 If a student is required by law to quarantine and therefore miss classes, the student will be eligible for a credit under this circumstance.
- 3.7 Credits must be redeemed within 6 months from date of issue, either through the Galilee programs or any other programs offered by DW to the general public.
4. COVIDSAFE POLICIES
Students must adhere to DW's COVIDsafe policies:
- 4.1 Submit to a temperature check. If the student's temperature exceeds 37.5 (after the 2nd check), the student will not be allowed to do the class on that day
- 4.2 Sanitise upon entry and regularly
- 4.3 Maintain social distancing
- 4.4 Galilee adult staff supervising the children must wear masks while in the premises
- 4.5 If the student is sick, required to quarantine, recently travelled overseas or has been in contact recently with somebody who tested positive for coronavirus, please do not attend classes
- 4.6 Parents or friends are not permitted in DW. During the pandemic, only authorised Galilee personnel and the students may enter the building.
5. GENERAL RULES
- 5.1 Students must wear comfortable sports or dance gear to classes, bring a towel and water bottle to class.
- 5.2 Class times advertised include travel time to and from Galilee.
- 5.3 Students must notify DW of any injuries sustained prior to class commencing each time.
- 5.4 Parents are not permitted in the classroom except on Open Days. Classes can be observed through glass windows.
- 5.5 All patrons and guests are required to keep the DW premises neat and orderly.
- 5.6 All patrons will be responsible for their own goods & property. DW will not be liable for any loss or damage to any person's property. Uniform or any belongings left in the studio is not the responsibility of DW. Please label everything.
- 5.7 Students who are disruptive or disrespectful towards their teachers, other students and DW staff will be asked not to participate in class.
- 5.8 All patrons and their guests shall indemnify DW for any loss or damage to DW’s property caused directly or indirectly by the patron and / or their guest.
- 5.9 DW shall not be liable for any injury sustained by a student or patron whilst participating in a class and/or attending the premises of DW.
- 5.10 From time to time, substitute teachers may conduct the classes without prior notice, instead of the regular teacher.
